So church was good. I love how if you go wanting to hear from God (and sometimes even if you don't), He speaks. It was wonderful to finally turn over to Him some of the things I've been clinging to so tightly for the last few months. This was also the first church I've visited here that I actually could see myself becoming an active part of. I've been to lots of others down here, and was Spiritually fed at most of them, but they didn't feel like the family that I need in a church home. This one seemed like it could be that. I hope so. I will wait and seek His will.
Second discovery of the day: did you know the verb for 'forgive' can be verb of motion in Greek? When it says in I John that God forgives your sins, it literally says he sends them away, he banishes them, THEY ARE GONE. 'Twas a very cool observation.
Third observation of the day: it is 3 pm., and I just checked my total calories for the day so far. Lissa has eaten over 1200 calories!!! I am actually gonna pull off getting a normal and relatively balanced (for me anyways) amount of food today. Lissa thinks she should get to play in the rain as a reward...(no worries, April. I will be good. P.S. Your note was wonderful and also something I needed to hear. Thank you for that.)
