So Leslee Young and Jeremy Soard are engaged. I don't think they're ready. And he seems to unstable mentally, emotionally, financially, etc too me to support himself and her just yet. Grief... *roll eyes*
Hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve. I thought we'd be at Linda's (mother in law) spending time with Michael (brother in law) who leaves for Iraq on the 3rd. He was there for about an hour and a half and then he and his trashy girlfriend split so they could go get smashed at he's dad's girlfriend's house. And Linda's no account boyfriend has a terrible addiction to bingo, and when his sister called to invite him there and Linda refused the car keys, her driving services, and money I guess he decided he was going to walk from Louisville to Shelbyville to play because he stormed out saying he'd be back tomorrow.
So we packed our stuff up, said bye, and went to Matt's Starbucks to tell him to come on to Ada's instead of trying to find Linda's like originally planned. We went to Ada's and watched Kicking and Screaming, drank wine, ate pizza rolls, and watched the ball drop at midnight in the company of much better ppl than originally planned. *sigh* It's all so disfunctional.
BTW, I put in my two weeks at Meijer a week ago. And I've applied for Starbucks. Hopefully I get the job lined up within the next week. 2007 will be about change for me, I think. I want to finally figure out what I'm doing with my life, get internships and a real job lined out, and be ready to move on after Graduation at the end of May 2008. This is my last full year at UK. *sniff!* I still haven't decided one way or the other on the GMAT and graduate school yet. I hate thinking that I'd do that just so I can stay in school longer and prolong my life, but the master's degree would help my income too. So we'll see.
