WE JUST BEAT TECH!!!! YAY WILDCATS!!!!
a.k.a. Northern Michigan University beat Michigan Tech. University in the hockey game earlier this evening. There were several fights, one of which involved a Tech player choking one of our guys - which of course had us all screaming at the ref and the players. Not that we weren't screaming the rest of the time too... because we were. There was one point where I hit an octave I didn't know I still could, basically I was yelling loud enough to squeak. But it was still great, because we won, 1-0. The score became that within the first few minutes of the game and stayed that way the entire time. I'm really not sure who was yelling louder at points: me, Cyndi, the drunken high guys behind us, or the Puckheads. Hockey games are an excellent way to relieve stress because of all the high energy flying around. Why did I not discover that this was the best spectator sport ever sooner?
In other news - the Detroit Tigers (baseball tea) are going to the WORLD SERIES!!!! Fuck yes, it's about time that they got back there. Wasted the Yankees (even though I like them too) and totally swept the Athletics.
