Valuable Lesson of the Week: Tickling in bed leads only to pain if both parties are engaging in this addictive "stop! stop! I CAN'T STOP!" activity. Because when one dives down to continue/escape tickling the other might grab for their head, miss and make contact with the general eye region. This contact will end with the stabber feeling guilty because the stabbee is clutching their eye and rolling around on the bed, demanding to know if it's bleeding - because it totally is. And in the morning there's dried blood not a centimeter from the bare eyeball (it's on the little bottom eyelid area near the eyelash) and a lovely swollen spot that's going to attract all sorts of questions about what you do in bed.
In other news, it's a snowday due to the insane amount of snow and wind that has been dumped on the entirety of the U.P. So I'm crawling back into my warm bed with the girl who tried to remove my eye by way of her thumbnail (I still love you, Lee) and then we're going to watch Sydney White and various other movies all day while cuddling and drinking hot cocoa. Sounds like a very good day to me ^-^
