Driving Me Insane

Nicki: That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I hate people like that, they make no sense at all.
Me: And you see, this is when I agree with you. Because, you know, you're right and all. Now, which aisle is the sugar in?

After lunch I went out with Mandy and Nicki to do various things that needed doing. Cashing checks, buying sugar cubes, paying off phone bills, etc. etc. Nicki's car is a pretty sweet little Jeep and the conversations were fun. I got a couple of things that I've needed for awhile (sugar for my tea, q-tips, cuticle cutters), and then I bought a bouquet of flowers for Lee because I wanted to. Sure, they're being kept in an NMU Recycle mug, but they're still pretty. Except the sunflower, that one looks a little on the other side of unhappy. But she liked them, and that's the important part after all, isn't it?

In other news... oh no, wait, I'm not going into other news because none of it is pleasant and I'm supposed to be nice and un-snappy. Even when people don't exactly deserve that. And there are some people you just don't take advice from, even when they offer it. Some people have a really bad track record that hasn't been made any better, friends and family-wise.

Movies with Mandy and Emmy, and hopefully Lee, tonight after Emmy gets back from her third round of ice skating. Tomorrow is time for sleeping in and then going to work for the night; Saturday is nice and empty. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I've been trying to talk Lee into bowling or something like that. I haven't gone in quite awhile, and I really miss bowling.

freakin' sweet, could your iq go any lower?, people, friends, conversation
