Right then. Decision made: I'm taking the test over. I'm not entirely sure I got to that one all by myself, but it's moving forward and that's better than standing still or going backwards. First & foremost speedy recovery to Mr droxy and timestep's daughter!

Totally f'ed up the second painting attempt. I was going for something colorful but sedate and "Indian". Instead, I ended up with a mucky brown mess. My attempts at "fixing" it and covering it up have ended in yet another layer of mess. Blending is not so easy with paint ( Read more... )

I'm not much of an artist, but for some reason the painting bug got me. I started with crayon drawings and today I did my first acrylic painting. I'm so excited! It actually turned out decent IMO.
