I suck at titles!

I'm absolute rubbish with grammar and punctuation when it comes to my own writing. God bless my Greek Goddesses! My guess is, I rush to get my ideas down, not paying attention to the details because I don't want to interrupt the flow (and my characters tend to whine and moan when I don't listen to what they have to say or want to do). After that, I can't go back and look at the piece for sure fear that some new idea will crop up or I'll find the whole thing to be utterly horrible. So yes, the technical, mechanical editing falls to others, and I can't apologize enough for that.

So, as some of you know, I have a minor addiction to shoes. I am, however, banned from buying more shoes until my birthday (2 more months!), because my mommy indulged and bought me these:

These babies are very nearly my dream red heels. I was so excited to find them, and even more excited to find them for a deal ($85 shoes for $10 *happy dance*) that the height of the heel completely escaped my notice (5"). You see, I wobble in one inch heels. Hell, I trip when I'm barefoot with nothing around me. But since shoes and earrings fit no matter your weight, I just couldn't pass these up ;)

Imagine my surprise when we're out shopping and my mom goes, "I saw some cute flats on sale. Do you want a pair?" I don't do pointy shoes but I don't ever pass up an offer on cute shoes. When I put them on I liked what it did for me. What do you think? (Sorry for the toe cleavage in the second pic)

Guess how much these were.

97 cents!!!
That's right, a whole whopping $0.97.
I love you Christmas Tree Shop!

I got 2 other pairs for the same price. Those shall be showcased whenever I where them, the heck with the fact that it's now boot weather (*grump*)

wildmagelet and I were talking about politicians and pinup girls. Well it came up at any rate. I had been browsing through a book sale just a day before this conversation and happened to have taken a picture that I now think is highly apt:

writing, picspam, shopping
