I'm issuing a re-design...NEW YEAR NEW ME!
In the fashion world it is simply referred to as the "R" word. No fashion house or magazine ever wants to hear this uttered with in their walls. I , on the other hand, Am embracing it whole heartedly as I feel it is necessary in the growing up and the personal growth process. So yes... on my own personal self inside and out... RE-DESIGN has been issued.
Ever since I've started school in France I've been discovering a lot about myself and what it truly means to be stylish. Style is not having a closet full of the best designer names and being decked out in labels on a daily basis. Style is knowing who you are on the inside so well that you are able to reflect that person on the outside through the use of clothing. Being and american, and therefore a born conformist i would spend thousands of dollars on dolce and gabbana, Prada, and Balenciaga. It all looks great on and I'm sure it will still be part of my wardrobe after the re-design. I will be looking at myself inside and out and changing the outside to reflect the inside.
What brought this about really was my stylisme class. We were talking about many of the great designers of our time and what makes them famous. Everyone was blurting out answers like their name, label, reputation etc.... all of which are true but not the true essence of a designer. The reason certain designers are able to make it big is not through their talent or skills but through their personalities. A designer label is al about the personality of the house or the person at the helm. after close examination I came o the realization that I don't show much of my personality ever through the way I dress or through my mannerisms. This is all going to change.
I will treat myself the sam way I would treat any collection I do for school. What is my inspiration, do some concept sketches decide on some colors, an overall concept. starting friday and hopefully I will be done by the new year. This is my new Years resolution. also to work harder in school. I'll try and keep you guys posted maybe my first video blog will be me unveiling the design scheme of the new Sean!!!

OMG!!! I FORGOT TO MENTION SOMETHING THAT MADE ME IMMENSELY HAPPY 2 THINGS ACTUALLY
I GOT STYLE SIGHTED!!!!!!!!!= style sight is a fashion trend office and predict the trends of up coming years. fashion comanpies subscribe to their service and get to see all of the new things and get inspiration. Sometimes the designers of style sight go to the streets and take pictures of people they think are particularly fashionable...AND THEY CHOSE ME!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY
Also, I got a little package in the mail today from someone from germany and I love it! Its always freezing in my apartment even with heater on and inside this package is was microwavable pillow that stays warm for hours on end. I love it... There was also a cookie which is currenly being digested lol
