[Heavy NPC content ahoy!  The writing is sort of shaky, uneven, and smudged - he is writing with his left hand, which he doesn't usually do.  If you think that your charrie, or an NPC they work with who may have talked about it, had reason to be at the griffin stables, or who may have seen Rosa carrying him to Wellspring, you're welcome to comment as if they were there/talked to someone who was.]

Sorry about that.  [Although it's carefully positioned and looks accidental, that was actually deliberate, and he had to unwrap his right arm a bit to get to the... well, it's not really blood anymore, so much as dried blood mixed with whatever was slathered on the wound.  He's hoping that the medic who applied it either doesn't read the journals or won't care.]

I'm going to have to request that no one who doesn't have a minimum of five days' experience with griffins, as vouched for by one of the more senior grooms, the griffin master, Rosa, or myself, keep a good distance from the griffin stables and their pasture.

There's been a certain amount of trouble.  Nothing for the Watch, no - and apart from a wild animal and two domestic ones, no one else was seriously hurt.  I have to stress that.  Someone...  well, this morning a wild griffin got in among the domestic ones.  It's all sorted out now, but the griffins are all still excited.  You may want to be careful around other animals too, though that's a question for the other masters.  I have no idea how the other animals felt about the incident.

I trust that now we all understand the importance of color-coded nare piercings and keeping a mesh over the pasture in the mornings?

- Rogue Lea An [He almost doesn't catch himself, both times, but both times carefully obliterates the letters.]

i blame myself, now i'm grounded, there is no intell here
