A few days ago I tried a memory crystal. It was less than ten minutes of flying in a pointer, hunting down what has to have been a bomb in an airspeeder. I found out a few things, which I've been thinking over. There's a certain, very small amount that can be almost-remembered by asking yourself yes-or-no questions and picking which answer "feels" better, but even when you can think up the right questions, too often there isn't really a strong feeling for one or the other. It's hardly a science.
Mynock has to have been a droid. You don't ask passengers to plot courses and track the target, and there wasn't anything like enough space for one anyway. I'm not sure if that makes it okay, but... it's something.
There are thirty-six ships in a wing. I think I knew that at some level, because it makes sense to me, even if "wing" and "thirty-six" don't seem to go together.
[there's a pause and then, in larger letters:]
Lusankya.
The Super Star Destroyer Lusankya. I think it's either a ship or a superweapon. Maybe both. It's interesting, because in the memory I seemed to think it shouldn't have been there. Maybe that it shouldn't have "been" at all. It shook me up pretty severely, if I'm reading my reactions right. But now - huh. I'm not sure. It's a familiar set of words, to be sure, but how I react to them is entirely different. I guess I'm a lot happier with it than I was back then.
I hope Star Destroyers weren't named literally, though. That's - I'm not sure. It's possible to have a ship that destroys stars, causes them to go nova, but is it - are they - called that? I suppose I'll have to wait and hope to find out. I think Lusankya was causing groundquakes, which... doesn't really fit "Super Star Destroyer", I have to say.
- Rogue Le [quickly struck completely out. Damn it, he hardly ever does that anymore. He does not add or mention the name Antilles.]
