Lord of the Rings: Online
The open beta of this game started yesterday. I'm having a blast with it. If anyone would like to give a try, you can download the beta client from the official site (it's the "World Tour" option). If you do, let me know. I'm playing on Landroval as several different characters (loving my Minstrel at the moment), and would love to have some company.
Here is a shot of Aeleran, my Minstrel (His race is child of men, or whatever, which is pretty difficult to fit into a sentence). He's kickass. He plays a mean lute, and is a nice fighter/healer combo (sort of like Red Mage in FFXI, which is one of my favorite jobs).
My graphics are on a medium setting, and I've since tweaked things to make them look a little bit better. Once the game launches I'll be able to set them higher as I won't have to deal with the lag of so many beta testers (the screenshot doesn't even tell half the story of the number of folks trying it out right now).
