The Wedding Part 2

I am on a roll! woot!
Anyway this is not as solemn as the previous post, just a general post on the wedding last night...
First of all I want to say....the food I had last night...SUCKS big time.
So to all my friends in singapore...if you ever want to throw a wedding banquet...do not ever choose M-hotel!!
I can go into details on how terrible the food was...and how messy the service staff was, but that would make this post long...
so anyway..after desserts were served the guests started leaving some of us (church friends and I) stayed and chat while the last minute photo taking and wait staff clearing up around us.
Well...it seems that there was some ongoing conspiracy that of the guys in the grp was gonna try introducing some of his guy friends to one of the ladies during his wedding (this nov.) That lady is question is same age as I am. I wouldn't say she is desperate, but her job as a teacher does not really provide her with opportunity to meet new man. Anyway I am sure the convo did come up as a joke at first. But from what I heard from the guy, he has lots of single engineer friends, who wouldn't mind getting introduced to someone.
And of course their next target was me =__=. The other single lady at the table.
seems that the guys are all ready to marry out the ladies in church...and they even planned that if the upcoming wedding did not work, then they would try again at my bro's wedding =__=
why is everyone so eager not to stay single? while i don't mind opportunities to get to know more ppl (but i am socially awkward and serioiusly not the best person to hold a conversation with) this deliberate attempt by the guys to matchmake makes me wants to *plamsface*
