(no subject)
Yesterday:
-Lost power all over downtown at around 3:30 because one of the funeral homes caused a transformer to blow. While I was curious about the details, I didn't ask exactly what said funeral home was doing to cause the power to surge. After all, it's the south in the summer and it's the oldest part of town so it's really a miracle the power doesn't blow more often than it does. Regardless, we got to go home early, which was cool...except that we didn't have any power at home either. Luckily, it came back on before too long, so happiness. Made my world famous chicken and black bean chili, went to the sto', made a half hearted attempt to watch Raw, and then went to bed.
Today:
-The power outage apparently fucked my computer over. shit. I've made some process on my letter about the Ken Shamrock v. Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and I hope to have it finished and out the door today. I've also been working on my LJ layout. Sorry goths, I just couldn't find any Edward Gorey pics I liked. I also could really do much with the desert or bedouin pictures I had, so UFC wins. Like there was ever a doubt.
Tomorrow:
-Birthday. Wish I could say I was looking forward to it, but seeing as how B and I are both broke and all of my friends have to work, I don't expect to be doing anything. Blah.
