I don't have anything personal against John McCain. As Republicans go, I think he's pretty darn moderate and that's cool by me. Even if he doesn't want to support a bill that will allow women who aren't getting paid equal to their male coworkers to sue their employers, it doesn't automatically make him a bad man. I'll let you look it up yourself; I don't have time to link you to any one of the myriad of articles on this current political hottopic.
Oh no. My problems with the man are much more serious.
Namely it's his assault on my sense of taste that's so bothersome.
I mean, really folks. Do we want this man and his wife redecorating the White House? Say what you will about the Bushes, but at least Laura has some modicum of decency when it comes to decorating.
