Websites?

I posted this on Facebook but I'll post this here, too.
"I need to update my website. For the artists out there- do you have a program or online web template service that you could recommend? Or did you hire someone? I have Dreamweaver CS3 (which is getting old now) and basic HTML skills, but I don't know how to make modern websites. I've been realizing that I need a website that will display my art/photo galleries on modern devices, including smart phones, etc. as well as the traditional computers (I have no idea what my website even looks like on a smartphone...;_; ). Plus, my website needs an updated look anyway!"
So far, Bludomain.com and wordpress are interesting options to me (thanks, Michael). My web host even has a link to wordpress so that might work, but it still seems rather blog-like and I think I want a proper website that has a blog within it, or linked to it. (But maybe that doesn't matter anymore? I do want some information to always be immediately available and obvious on my website, like info on my books or my latest updates.)
I want something simple to understand and develop, so I don't have to spend lots of time just trying to figure out how something works. I want modern art galleries and may link or host a webcomic (yes, still want to do that, if I could ever decide between the 3 ideas I have! :)).
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
