BBB squee, birthday, and emo . . . I mean life
I decided to count my reviews this morning. I did it in a way which discounts conversations I got into with people, or multiple comments on one chapter, but that allows for one comment per person per chapter. And I was hit by a surprise nap due to a pain pill, only to wake and find one more review, by the lovely annemaris. Which means!
According to my counting system, my BBB just reached 50 reviews! That, to me, is incredible! Thank you all so, so much!
Also, as you can see above, I made an icon out of the lovely art I received from the opteryx. If you haven't already, please go tell her how amazing she is! It can be seen here!
On a different note, I realized that my birthday is just two weeks away, and while the age thing doesn't bother me at all (because I look and act much younger than I am) the lack of funds to go out and celebrate it does. I do have plans: my roommate has a fiddling gig that week, and I love Irish pubs, so I will be at The Mandalay Bay with her and maybe some friends. But I won't be able to order food, or drinks, or really move, since I'll also be on the damn crutches still. This is disheartening.
This also means I won't be able to do my annual gift to myself, which is never more than 20 or 30 bucks, but I just can't spare it. I was thinking of either upgrading this account to a paid account, or of buying myself one of the seasons of Friends that I'm missing. Or maybe a fan, since the small one in my room really isn't going to cut it soon.
*sigh*
But that's enough of the emo for now! It will be my birthday in exactly 2 weeks, which is a GOOD thing, I have 50 comments on my BBB, and I have amazing art and mixes for it, and still an Elf! fic to read. Life could be worse. :)
