While reading a reaction post to an episode of television this morning, I read a comment where a person, distraught that her favorite character had been killed, announced in a community partially dedicated to said character that she wouldn't be watching the show any more. I understand why he/she's upset (it was a pretty horrible ending for the character), though I'll still watch the show.
There was, however, a curious reply to his/her post: *flounce*
Apparently, "flounce" is a new term used to tell people to shut up and get out.
Who the fuck thought that was acceptable, and which pagan god can I sacrifice my Chex Mix to in order to make it stop? I'd try Basic Kindness, but she seems overworked these days.
