heh, time flies apparently. i've been thoroughly consumed by school lately. everything's going pretty well though.
i actually went out last night. it's kind of nice to get out and be slightly social every once in a while. i watched some girl try very hard to throw a 'bro' off the roof. that was a bit unexpected.
i spent last weekend back at home. other than being trapped in town, it was really good to see brandon and dylan again. got to do a little catching up and a little relaxing.
a week or so ago, i joined up with a group of people to start work on a video game. i'm really interested, so hopefully we can get it off the ground. we're looking to develop on the nintendo ds, but we may end up on a different platform (xbox live or pc). the idea we've been bouncing around is a tactical rpg (ala shining force, disgaea, ff-tactics, etc). it's great to have an outlet for some creative energies again.
my baby python, lucca, finally took to some food last week. after about three weeks of frustration and failure with frozen/thawed i gave in and fed live. she seemed happy enough with that. after a couple weeks, i'll try again with the f/t. but, other than being a picky eater, she seems to have settled in well.
...and it's back to work i go.
