Back in the neigborhood
Came back for a visit. The old neighborhood looks swell. I see that finally tore down that empty bakery we used to hide in when we were kids. Also, they paved Grosvenor Street. There are kids skateboarding on it now, which you could never do when it was a mess of mud and gravel.
Not too many people i know anymore. That's the thing about old neighborhoods -- they don't change in your mind. Then you go back and poof, you realize that place just doesn't exist anymore. I mean the point on the map is still there, the latitude and longditude, but the place is gone.
Oh well. Nice day anyway.
