Lazy week - Cappotto News

Apr 18, 2010 14:08

I've had guests staying with me for all this week. I've pretty much done nothing in terms of sewing, which is bothering me just a bit under the surface. Part of me will be glad when they are gone; I'll be able to get more work done on my scholars projects.

Despite the guests, I've been able to get pinned the second row of trim to the cappotto, and create a paper pattern of my duct taped leg to turn into a fresh pair of stockings. I've also managed to work a bit on the code for my webpages for Scholars, and I've webbed my stocking documentation to a test page to see how it all works. So, all in all, I've not had a completely unproductive week, but it sure feels like it.

I've been kicking around an idea for my 5th Scholars project, as I haven't got one yet. I don't know if it will work; I'll have to do some pricing and theoretical thinking first. We'll see.

I also have to start thinking of something to do for my bardic presentation. Since I can't sing, anything containing notes will be right out.... I wouldn't torture my audience that way. If it won't be entertaining, I don't want to do it. I had thought about doing a bardic thingie related to my persona, but I'm not sure if I can find something appropriate. Again, we'll see.

Well, off to go socialize with my guests.
Cheers!
