She's two weeks old, but I wanted to introduce her to you.
As much as I didn't want to get rid of my old ride, I had to as a matter of necessity. Warranty was about to expire, and if anything broke a day after the expiration, I'd have to pay upwards of a thousand dollars for the average part, according to the service guys. So I let my previous car go, not without drama. I turned over the keys at around 9pm, but asked for a few minutes alone with my Audi. It was my dream car, and I sat in it for a few minutes. I'd driven it to work everyday. I'd taken it around the bay. I took it camping for two days for the PS3, where my buddy and I ate and slept in it.
I stepped out of the car and closed the door, leaned against it for second, thanked it for the awesome roughly two years it was with me, and bid it goodbye. It was hard to let go, but...
Ah what the hell I love my new car! My new ride, Alexis (named after my favorite niece):
She's an '07 Mazda3 Hatch. I'm already dying to take her out on a roadtrip. LA, Vegas, wherever. Yes perhaps down to Hollywood to finally get my tattoo from Kat Von D (of Miami Ink and LA Ink fame). Hmm.
