From Fred Allen's Town Hall Tonight radio show, a segment where Allen is interviewing avant-garde stage director "Dawson Bells":ALLEN: You are producing this summer?
BELLS: At Long Crag, Connecticut. I'm doing an Ibsen play in a windmill. The audience rides about in baskets on the four paddles. As the paddles pass the bottom of the windmill, the audience looks in. Snatches of the play are seen.
ALLEN: How do you know what the whole play is about?
BELLS: The windmill stops. The four groups are introduced. They withdraw. Views are exchanged. It dawns on them.
