How's the iphone? I am still waiting for mine, because it may be one of the most technocologically advanced countries but it's still bloody slow in getting things!!! I almost wonder if I want a phone anymore...!
Things have been up because I dont have a phone, mobile or net. I borrow others' net or try to find wifi spots. I'm shit bored of doing nothing but sit in an office trying to study Japanese or prepare for my presentation/intro to the students.
And the weather sucks. It's hotter and more humid than Sydney in Summer. I hope you're having better weather!!!

No, seriously. I've been stuck in an office in a foreign country like that. Sounds like my earliest days working in the lab in Canada. It does suck, if it's any consolation, it does get better.
And the lack of free wifi in japan truly astonishes me. Seriously?
All in all I'm loving the new iPhone. My main quibble it keeps "fixing" my spelling to American. I wonder if there's some way to change that?

And yes, you can install and swap to a british english keypad... I do!!! You just have to ask Matt when you get back or maybe if you're in the Apple store, just ask them.

I actually went to the new Apple store in Covent Garden while I was in London. Twice! And didn't think to ask. Ah well, I can always pop in to Chatswood when I get home.
