Yeah, yeah, everyone was right. I needed to wait it out and see how things turned out. I had another day of orientation today, this time it was at the school and I had actual classes, even though they were just "mini classes" and were 15 minutes long. My teachers are awesome, the building is incredible, and it was a lot easier to talk to people.
Holy shit I'm taking this MIDI Music class and it's so fucking cool. The teacher is this Asian guy who just graduated from Yale this year. We spent the whole class talking about Kanye West and Saturday Night Live and how we feel about sampling and stuff. It was awessoomme. I'm the only girl in my photography class and my music class, but whatever. I found this one kid who isn't preppy and who might be into good music, but he's kind of shy so I didn't get to talk to him that much.
I'm just generally really happy with how things are looking and I'm excited to start working. Lame, I know, but that's the whole reason I'm going to this school.
I saw Mike Davitt in the halls today and he looked totally out of it. He looked like he didn't know where the hell he was. It was funny.
