Follow up
Well, I got a 63% on the essay that I submitted that earlier thing with. This is not really surprising, but still complete bullshit. The class average was 75%, and that's factoring in the many people who didn't submit anything (I personally know about 10). A person I know who submitted less than one third of the required content got an 80%.
My first reflex was to pick a fight with this prof, maybe embarrass him during his lecture, but I see now that that would be the wrong route. That's fighting him too openly, and I can get burned that way. I think I'm just going to chuckle every time I look at him. The best way to feed someone else's anger is to laugh at it. He's not worth the time it would take to bring him down formally.
