(no subject)
The reality of five more years (after this one) of school is starting to set in - I just registered to take the GRE on Sept. 22, and applications for one of the fellowships that I'm applying for are due ion just over a month. It feels kind of strange doing all of this application stuff again - getting recommendations, writing essays, taking standardized tests. I thought I was done with all this stuff four years ago.
On the one hand, it's nice to have a little certainty - I know what I want to do with the forseeable portion of the rest of my life, and I only have to worry about making it happen. On the other hand, it's really stressful.
Got a meeting tomorrow with one of the professors who is writing a recommendation - hopefully she will say nice things about me. Or maybe not. You never know.
