In which our hero mutilates obstacles with ice axes...

Anyglaciers, someone let the cat out of the bag that I'd finished my ECDL, so now, I get the torture of being moved from one pigeonhole to another. The new one being work experience (read: slave labour) doing some admin work for some other training firm. Alright it has nice offices, but I don't get to have stupidly short hours anymore, okay I shouldn't have had them in the first place, but it is irritating when you're keeping your head down, clutching some small mercies and then, i dunno, seems I've just come under some form of mortar fire. So I start there on Wednesday. At least I get to wear a suit.
Speaking of Wednesday, Phil's game continues to be good. As to whether or not I can make it this week will be decided at some point on Wednesday itself, depending on how amicable it is with people there, tbh, I'd like to take the stance of "fuck you, I'm having this day off, you're getting free work outta me", however, I'm aware that taking such a stance is probably a bad thing.
Sunday evening at Phil's was pretty darn cool too. Shame I had to leave due, I was quite getting into drinking copious amounts of beer and watching not the nine o'clock news. Oh well, I'm sure the hut will fulfil more of that.
In the world of shoe-hattery, all my skills are planned to take account of the hut, so the accounts are frozen as not to waste time (yay for skills still training during frozen accounts ^_^). Then when I'm back I'll have both accounts rebilling on the same day, which will be more manageable.
I've just bought my new ship, an orca, it's a massive cargo ship which lets me fit modules which give the fleet bonuses to mining or whatever, mainly got it for the cargo hold. I got it as the prices that had bottomed out at 406mill, started climbing again and I jumped at one going for 408mil. So now it's sat in the dock, not even able to make it my active ship, so I just get to stare at the thumbnail and amaze myself at the size of the cargohold, which will just get bigger.
So, with a bit of luck, I'll be able to get to Phil's game on Wednesday. The thing I'm most lucking forward to is the weekend though. I'll be able to fly this ship, which will be fun for a while, but then there'll be Ben & Bex's housewarming which will be as, if not, more fun. I do think they're mad though, having a housewarming in August? Surely a housecooling would be in order....that would have been more funny if the weather this month hadn't been terrible.
Now to kill the time between now and when I should sleep. *twiddles thumbs*
