Never have I wanted to commit murder so badly...

Work was a pain in the ass today. I mean yeah I know it's my job to take calls, but these damn people just kept calling one right after the other. A few weeks ago we were used to slow days in the benefits center were we had tens of minutes, often times over an hour in between calls while we sat around and talked and basically did nothing. Now all the participants for the companies we take calls for wait until the last week to call in for their annual enrollment and I can't get a damn ten second rest in between calls. The only benefit to this was that it made the day go by faster. But the downside is I had to walk some of the biggest dipshits through what to me seems simple. I mean sure I don't expect everyone to understand the intricacies of health coverage or life insurance, but having to explain the same god damn but of info 5 times for one person is taxing enough, then I have to do it on every call.

The coup de gras was at the end of the day. Twenty minutes til five and I take a call that requires a translator. Oh goody, I think, figuring this will run me right up until five and I won't have to take more calls. Oh it ran up til five...and beyond. I spent 45 minutes on this one call explaining the same god damn mother fucking thing to this woman who couldn't speak English. I swear we spent 15 minutes alone going over her premium. I mean shit, when I tell you what is going to be deducted from your paycheck each week, then that's what is gonna be deducted. This stupid bitch kept asking the same damn thing over and over, I don't know how else to make it clearer. Then I spent another 7 minutes easy on explaining how I was calculating her premium, having to go into how there are 52 weeks in a year, so if you are paid every other week you can't just double your weekly deductions to figure for a month since not every month has four equal weeks in it (otherwise that would be only 48 weeks in a year). That call would have lasted about 8 minutes tops if I didn't have to wait for translation.

Ugh...this is gonna be exhausting. Tomorrow and Friday I'm sure won't be any better. But I got over it I guess, I had dinner, took a hot shower, and watched Ofelas, which was a pretty sweet movie by the way, and I'm glad they didn't try to dub it too...

Now I am really looking to have some fun this weekend in Macomb, I need a break from talking myself dry to a bunch of retards that need you to hold their hand through something a fuckin third grader could figure out faster...
