Match reaction under the cut..

Warning: Everything I said below is just my personal reaction as a very concerned and loyal fan of Spanish National Team. You don't have to agree with everything I said, and I don't claim to be better than Del Bosque in any way.

Ya I hope they don't change their style of play against Spain. The reason I expect them to be more defensive is because they would fight hard for a draw to ensure qualifying. If they lose to Spain, there's a chance they might not advance.

i have seen (at least partly) both games with Chile and they were always playing the offensive side.

ah I see. It's so much better when both teams are attacking.. i hate it when the other team just park a bus in front of the Spanish goal.

I agree with your assessment! I was thinking the same things while watching the match. Spain are scaring me. Where is their speed and finesse? They were VERY shaky, and against Honduras? (I am from North America and I follow the South American NTs and some of the leagues there.) I know the Chile team very well and there is a reason why they finished SECOND BEHIND BRAZIL. And Chile have NOT been playing as well as they CAN. They have yet to hit their stride. And man, are they FAST.

I am scared, seriously. I am a Spain fan and while I am quite happy that the South American teams are doing well at the WC, I wanted Spain to go all the way! I'm not going to be able to sleep until Friday! :(

I'm going to watch Chile's game tonight because I'm not familiar with them at all. My second team is Argentina, but I still want Spain to win. I think they will get better and better each game, I hope!

I think it's okay if Chile is fast though, because if Xavi is ticking in the midfield, every team plays at Xavi's tempo. But today he was playing too up front, and he wasn't able to conduct from the midfield as well.

I'm from California, and I'm glad their next game is at 11 am again so I don't have to watch it while half-alseep. I can't wait!
