My nephew the god
I got an email from my sister today:
"Do you remember this strip? Well, [my nephew] has been on a big Calvin and Hobbes kick lately, and there have been some side effects. One is a greatly increased risk that he will attempt to pounce on things. Another is that he has been playing with the building blocks you sent us, muttering to himself about old gods, usually shortly before something catastrophic happens to his structure."
