update on eric...
Well I found out from a reliable source today that some of the information I was given about Eric was not as bad, this is a good thing since I've been very worried about him. Here is the new information...
The 2 guys got out through the docks and into the parking lot, and that is where Eric tackled one of them. The weapon used to slice him was a box cutter and it missed his jugular by a little under an inch. He was also slashed in the mouth area where one of his lips (not sure if top or bottom) was sliced nearly in half along with a small part of his cheek. He was however not in critical condition as I was told earlier. He did go strait to the hospital where they directed him and started on reconstructive surgery. Its kinda crazy to think of how bad it had to be for you to need reconstructive surgery nearly a half hour after it happened.
So good news is he is now home as of this morning, and he is just in extreme pain and probably isn't too happy with the way he looks right now...
The banner shop made him a giant "get well" banner and most of us who know him signed it.
I'm glad he is alright, for the most part he is at least. Minus the cuts he is in good health, thankfully. They doubt he will be back to work earlier than a month from now. I'm sure the Trade Center will be covering all of his hospital bills since it happened on their property. It would really suprize me if they didn't, because thats a law-suit and a half on their hands.
