great weekend
So i went to chesterfield yesterday afternoon to see my friend john-- he was at bootcamp for 6 months because he broke his leg but he finally got to graduate and we went to see him. It was so nice having him around again, everything was just simple between everyone it seemed. NOTHING sorority came up, no listening to trash talk, no being ignored or less important, it was just fun. lots of same adams summer ale and magic hat (number 9?) and yuenglling and kings. "spaghetti money". i 'fell asleep' on the couch for like an hour and a half before too late, but during that time apparently carra, this matt guy that john didn't know, and paulos all left and someone's sister came and went. we all played this family guy DVD game and that was fun... i dunno... it was all just fun. it wasn't like one of those parties that you can list a series of events and have people understand why it was great. john seemed to be doing really well... mandy pointed out that he's more stern-- not in a bad way, and john's not a pushover, he just wasn't letting people be dumb (ie this guy named kirby) and he wasn't mean about it.
