[Oh, but Road liked those nightmares. Tinged with hints of her own dark dreamworld, she sat and watched, doing nothing to hide her presence but not drawing attention to herself either.
It was almost pitiful. Rip might not have been human, but in this case she'd been as helpless as one.
Would she say anything? Maybe. Maybe not.
Let Rip help herself first by at least overcoming her fears long enough to notice Road.
And then she'd decide if she was worth playing with any longer.]
[And there he was, a dark figure in the flames with a diabolical grin.
Samiel.
Samiel. Just a breathless whisper, aloud:]
Samiel.
[Nononono! But she couldn't move, there was a hole in her chest, a hole from being impaled on her own beloved-- she couldn't move.
Samiel collapsed once again into nothing, as the dream changed, leaving a brush lying in front of her. She was supposed to paint the Hellsing emblem with her own blood, that one-eyed bat of Hellsing wanted it, like the day before. And the day before. But stop, she wasn't there anymore, was she
( ... )
[How many things Rip was afraid of. What was that, a demon? She leaned in for a closer look, but Rip's dreams merged into each other too quickly.
She was humming softly to herself - how creative yet unoriginal Rip's enemies were, Road was almost amused. Was it just revenge on their part, or did they think they were teaching the vampire a lesson?
Not that Road cared.
And then Rip finally stirred, seeming to seek her out. A rather ghastly grin was on the small Noah's face to meet Rip if she managed to spot her.
She'd never seen Road in her true element, after all. Those tea parties of before were only a game, a party trick to keep her entertained.]
[The humming was what directed Rip's gaze in the right direction.
That grin! Was it another of Samiel's horrors? Rip shrank back, gasping.
But it was not, was not. Not Samiel. Could it be? Was it really Miss Road, looking truly horrifying? It did suit these dreams, didn't it. Though in all the time she had spent in Millennium and the Doktor's company, she had seen enough to not let something like this scare her. After all, she even had one of her very own. She did remember catching a glimpse of that when she had asked her to join-- or had it been? Everything was so clouded. One ghastly image in all the horror around her, it didn't surprise her anymore either. What did one more matter here?
Not Samiel was all that counted, but why was Road there? She needed a few moments until she spoke, unbelieving.]
[She giggled when she saw how Rip shrank back from her, a giggle that would be more familiar to the vampire than the grin that had left Road's face as if it had never been there. Let her wonder whether it was just another part of her nightmare. It would give her something to think about.]
Hello, Rip ♥
[The clunky school shoes she was wearing thumped the floor as she took a few casual steps in her direction - Road liked those little things that made dreams seem more real, they confused people so.
One finger tapped against her lips as she contemplated Rip, little girl features wearing a feigned look of curiosity.]
[Miss Road, adorable little Miss Road, her victim had been the very first. The first night. Somehow they had found out about her candles, perhaps her police playtoy was to blame there. The first night Samiel had come to her with candles, candles. And flames danced high around them, like they had on the deck of the ship, the M.S.Eagle. Burnt. But from within the flames came the creeping shadows again, remaining unharmed by the fire.
She concentrated on Road, trying to ignore all of that.]
I d-do not understand.
[Then again, it was a dream, wasn't it? It didn't need to make sense and one accepted that. After all, there was still a bloody hole in her chest - going all the way through - and that couldn't be, either, could it? Road, now looking as she always did-- A dream, yes.]
Nevertheless, you are here.
[And with a sweeping gesture of the hand holding the brush, she pointed at the things around her and said dryly:]
Welcome in Samiel's chamber of horrors, Miss Road.
[Hands behind her back and a smile on her face, close enough to be invading Rip's personal space.]
Dreams, Rip. You're having a dream. Don't you understand?
[She thought she'd be quicker on the uptake than this. Road wasn't one to make allowances for someone being out of it because of a silly thing like a nightmare. But she wasn't going to spell it out for her either.]
Samiel's chamber of horrors? [she said it mockingly, sticking her tongue out at the vampire. Mean but playful, as always.] It's just your mind.
[Looking at you, Road. Why so close. On second thought, Rip didn't mind. She liked Road and being close to her was preferable to the nightmares anyway.
Actually, it lifted her spirit a little, which made it easier to focus and think.]
...I remember when I was in your dream. Your ability, wasn't it. Does that mean you're not just a dream phantasm, but really here? In person?
[The brush in her hand vanished, as did the flames. Surrounded by darkness, shadows opened hundreds and hundreds of eyes to watch them.Him. Rip shivered a little, but managed to hold herself together.]
My mind, yes. Isn't it a shame what it has become lately? Not supposed to be like this.
[Because Road has no concept of personal space? Or just likes making people uncomfortable. Though good for Rip for not letting it bother her.]
In person? You could say that.
[Even in the real world it was rarely Road's real form that anyone saw, let alone in her own element. But it was close enough. She wasn't a figment of Rip's imagination, if that was what she meant.]
You're letting it be like this. No one's making you dream this. [If an Exorcist could somehow fight off Road's relentless dream attacks, she thought Rip could very well break free of her own nightmare.]
[And Road's certainly good at making people uncomfortable, but there is hardly anything that could bother her now besides Samiel and the torture memories.]
Letting it?
[Did she just suggest what Rip thought she did? Could she dispose of these horrible visions, just get rid of it? Oh, if only~. The shadowy eyes persisted.]
[Rip blinked, before a chuckle escaped her lips. She wasn't actually serious, was she? She couldn't be. But perhaps she was. What an absurd, bittersweet comedy this was.]
Tsk, always playing, always teasing, Miss Road. And here I thought you had fun during our performance. Did you forget that so soon? No playtime, if I am in here.
[Perhaps she needed to be more careful in the future.]
I do, of course, assume you can get me out of here.
[Rip spread her hands in an inviting shrug and her voice sounded more lighthearted than she was feeling. While she was distracted like this, she hadn't even noticed as the hole in her chest had disappeared. There were definitely less creeping shadows than before.]
Oh, you can, but why restrict yourself to that? Why not have both. One can become more and certain company does add to it, I'd say.
[Besides, she'd be thankful, even if that was something she wouldn't say.]
Out of my imprisonment, my unpleasant captivity, of course! Here, the...*
(ooc: *Assume she told her? xD Since she certainly would have seen where the Angel-Crew had brought her, but I'm not too sure right now myself.)

I'm not carrying you out of wherever you are, so you'd better find out how to stop it soon.

I understand.

But you won't just leave me here, will you?

Give me one good reason why I shouldn't~.
[And she meant it, too, wondering what Rip would say.
Not to mention she'd neglected to tell her where to find her.]

Oh, I did have fun, but that was just one game. Do you think I can't play on my own?

Where's here, Rip~? Unless you mean out of the dream. I could do that easily, but then we couldn't talk anymore.
