My fingers are screaming to write...

Several semester's ago, my very egotiscal and very intelligent professor explained that the most important thing you can do for your future children is to tell them stories--stores of your history, stories of your parents' history, stories of your grandparents' history, and so on. the insight you thank me for was learned at the feet of the Almighty. A process I am happy to say is forever developing. The gift of teaching is by its very nature rewarding if you are seeking the correct motive in which you are imparting knowledge. Teaching for the sake of winning someone over to your side of thinking is fatal, both for you and the person you are inflicting. However teaching someone with the intention of bringing forth the truths that have been brought forth by God (not by us) is an assurance that seeds are planted, cultivation will be next and God's plan will then be in motion. Who would want the responsibility of forming someone elses mind, soul and spirit without the guidence of the one who created us? If we choose to form the minds of others than we are taking God's place.
This is why you are in school to further the kingdom both at home and in the lives you will be touching. If people go to Bible schools or seminaries to learn how to bring forth God's plan than how is it any different to learn teaching skills at a tradtional school? It should all amount to the same end. Assuming that you are studing the Word along with your secular studies.
I could go on and on (as you well know) It is wonderful to reaffirm these princples with you.
I get so excited when I think of you moving closer to your choosen career. I will be one of your biggest supporters whether praying or just being there for you.
love, mom-in-law
