COMPLETELY TORN

I was sitting one day, reading actually when my mother approached me and I was like 'hey I want to buy this novel that has just come out' and my mother sarcastically replied 'Great, when you're getting married I don't need to buy you things anymore, I'll just bring you all your novels and mangas and just everything you read'. And then I realized ( Read more... )

random things, job changing, confused

Hey Dephi :D
long time no see! You're doing fine I see ^^

I think it's a good idea to do these small jobs as an editor and see if you like it. And if you really really love it much more than your other major you can change. It's not an easy decision of course but not a lot of people have the opportunity to do what they really love so if you can why not do it :)
I'm probably not good at giving advice at these things because I have to decide myself now what to do after school and I still haven't decided XD

Biggy-chaaaaaan ♥

Yeah, I'm still considering. The best decision would be doubling but I don't know. I've done this for almost a month already, a couple of articles, and it's quite fun so far.

Ah, you're graduating soon? That'a great! Oh,r eally? Well, it's hard to decide anyway, but you should believe in yourself. I don't know, based on my experience, it's never wrong to change anyway. Your future lies in this, well sort-of.

Anyway, how are youuu?

Yeah doubling it would be a great idea so at the end you can still decide which one you want to do :) But I hope it's not too much for you then ne!

Yeah I'm in my last year now and it's quiet hectic. School takes up my whole day D: Yeah what you decide on now changes your whole future but it's good to know that if you don't like it you can still change :) But right now I'm quite worried that I won't be accepted into university! But I guess I have to believe in myself that I can do it!

I'm quite fine except that school is a bitch to me :D

Well,t hat's also the problem, but starting this semester my schedule is actually less tighter than it used to be so I think I will be able to manage it somehow. But the catch is, I won't be able to surf or blog as much as I usually do so Idk if I can sacrifice that. Besides, I can't read as many books as I always do so well... It's quite confusing.

Ah, I see.. Well, why? Are you not confident with your grades or are you simply confused with your own choices (or the lack of it?)

Schools are always bitches. They always do. *sigh*

Ah I know what you mean! It bothers me a lot as well when I don't have time to do the things I want to (like surfing or just the things I want to). Is it already your last year at dentistry?

Well, you know I'm living in Germany and here it used to be 13 years of school before you graduate but now they have changed it to 12 years. My year is the last year with 13 years of school so actually this year my year (1991) and the year below (1992) are graduating together this means twice as much pupils as usually so I'm a bit worried because I might not get a place at university (because there are so many people graduating) D:
And I also have to decide if I want to study immediately or if I want to make a break and go to England for a year (I always wanted to go to England after I graduated but I'm not sure with the lack of places at university and everything if I should go).

So many things to worry about XD

Well, I have 2 more semesters 'till I get my bachelor degree, then I'll need another 3 semesters for err idk what it'll translate to, I guess internship?

Oh, I see. But shouldn't they prepare more seats because of that. I mean, you know, it's not like it's your fault that the system changed, right? It's 12 years here, so my sister who is around your age graduated last year. Oh, I want to go to England too. Idk, for some reason, I really want to move and , idk, study there? But idk, my father was gravely sick during my last year of high school so I couldn't leave and he finally survived the disease after two years. And by the time he became healthy again i was idk.. It was a bit hard to arrange something else so I was stuck with my current situation :(

Yeah. Well, that's how life is, sdly :(

Ah okay so still a few years ~ I wouldn't know how to decide if I were you XD giving up dentistry would be somehow a waste but you actually like editing so ... go for both lol it's so difficult ~

Yeah it's not really my fault and I hate their decision -.- of course they prepared more seats for the next year but of course they still aren't enough. That's why I'm thinking I should go to England for a year and then come back after everything kind of settled down XD
Oh, that's bad. But luckily your father is okay now. I know it's hard to change things when you're in the middle of something.
I wanted to go to Japan but because there is really no way for me to go I want to go to England, it's my second favourite country :D I want to go because I have the opportunity to. I'm sure I won't be able to go later when I'm in the middle of university time.

Life is never really predictable is it? I guess all we can do is live with it :(

Yep. Exactly why I was so torn :/
It's hard to decide especially when I've come this far. Because you know, I have worked hard to reach my current position so it'll be such a real waste to throw it away. Arghhh,, I'll just double! lol.

Ah, maybe that can work as well because the chances will be bigger that way. or so. Besides, you get to visit England as well. Or oh, why don't you go to Bali instead? lol! That way you can meet me because my city is only like a few hours away from there. haha :DD

Oh. I've been wanting to spend more time in England. I went there once and I just love it. I've gone to Japan and it's a really nice place too. Arghh, maybe I should move to Japan instead. lol.

Yep. Just hang on and deal with it. /sigh

Yeah I guess doubling would be the best solution. Then you can always change jobs if you're tired of one :DD But quitting now would really be a shame right?

Yeah visiting England is a really great opportunity I don't know when I could get again.
Haha if I can't go to England I come to Bali instead :D So you live in Indonesia? Do you live anywhere close to where the volcano broke out? D:

Yeah England is lovely and I bet Japan is too :D I want to move to Japan as well lol let's meet up there somewhere :DD

Well, I still have some time because I have to make a decision forr eal anyway :D

Well, England isn't really that far from your place, compared to my country anyway. But my mom is going to France, Spain and Italy next week. Wish I can join her actually but, I had just been to Japan last August so idk. hahaha ^^;;

yeah, I live at a city called Surabaya, it's at Eastern part of East Java (so it's really really near Bali because Bali is right next to East Java, well with a channel separating both island). Actually the volcano is somewhere around the border of East Java and Middle Java and I live at the eastern part of Java so it's quite far away, but still it's quite chaotic here because the volcano has erupted idk like more than 5 times, each greater than the previous eruption. Besides, there were also a tsunami in Indonesia right at the same day as the first eruption. So yeah ^^;;

That's good then :D give it both a good thought and if you can't decide just do both lol

Yeah it's like around the corner but Japan is like on the other side of the world D: You live closer to Japan but therefor farther away from England *sighs* But wow your mom is visiting these 3 countries in one go? :D Lucky you :) But Europe has a lot of interesting countries so visiting them all in one go is easier!

Yeah I sometimes saw the news when the volcano erupted again D: Must be really really chaotic there ... Here in Germany something live that never really happens (luckily) But just a few days ago I read that in a town here in Germany, suddenly (in the middle of the night) the ground was sinking down leaving a big (really really big) hole in the ground. They didn't really know what happened but luckily no one was hurt.

Actually, last year I went to Turkey and it took me about 12 hours to reach there and it was damn exhausting, hence why I'm nott hat interested to visit America, too far :/

Well, my mother isn't that interested to the historical sites. She cares more about the shopping area, if you see what I mean. Besides, she's not working at all, so she never misses these chances. She travels at least 5 times a year you know o.O

Yeah. Actually my uncle is these now, as a volunteer. I sometimes joins this but since I'm not having holiday, I can't join him so yeah. Have you ever been to a desert or something? Because now the whole area (and its neighbourhood city) looked like it's in a desert, so many sands etc o.O

What? That's really mysterious. hmmm..

I know how exhausting it is! I sometimes visit my family in Vietnam and that is 12 hours from Germany and then the time and everything O.o I think I was 24 hours awake XD America is also pretty far from me but I'm also not that interested to visit it ^^"

O.O 5 times a year? Lucky her :( I want to. I rarely find time to travel except during summer holidays. But yeah the shopping areas are awesome in big cities :D

No I've never been to a desert before D: But I've seen some photos with ashes covering everything and everything's just grey. But it must look even worse when you are there D:

Yeah when I first read it I thought that it's some kind of joke :D Because it sounds so strange

Oh obviously. I hate spending more than 10 hours inside the plane. But couldn't help it. I love travelling. hahah.. :D

Yeah. She loves spending my dad's money and apparently my father just lets her, so whatever. I kind of envy her anyway because well, who knows how my future husband will be? hahaha XD

Oh, desserts are cool, like one at Dubai. I love Dubai! I mean, for the shopping sites :p
Never been to Greece, but I'd love to go there sometimes :D
