Both because I want my life to be more interesting (ie, I will make it interesting once I am forced to do things worth writing) and because I enjoy sharing my life and want to share more of the ups, I plan (and that doesn't mean it will happen, but hey) to post weekly if at all possible ( Read more... )

Wouldn't it? *sigh* I wish. The best I get these days is an antique consignment shop, and they all know exactly what their items are worth, and charge double. -_-

Hoojuus *shudder* Yes, I know just how terrifying the dolls can be, especially to people who are outside of the circles or unfamiliar, and only see the crazy fanatics and the eyeless dolls, etc. Plus, some people dress and paint their dolls in totally unappealing (to my eyes) ways, and it's just like "wow, that's uglier than a five year old's Real Scissors Beauty Parlor Barbie." I will say that Joel used to hate ABJD too. He wanted a fashion doll, because they look like super expensive Barbies, essentially. Having Rhianna around all the time while I fawned over having a doll, and going to meetups, eventually changed his mind, and he saw the good in the dolls. While I'm not saying "oh hai give her time and she'll come around and want one too!" I am saying "with the right exposure and enough exposure, she'll at least be desensitized." XD

This one's not at all like you'd think of a tutu, as far as I can tell. It isn't the prima ballerina's stick out tutu thing that you'd have trouble going through doors with. It looks like a fancy worn-outside crinoline, to me. Maybe I should put up pictures?

I just about did. Then people told me that we'd had a cold snap, and next month's would probably be just as high. I cried, didn't fight it, and cranked down the heater four whole degrees. I sleep wearing layers, now, both of sweats and of blankets.
