I would say name the fish after Archimedes' wife but there is no record of a wife or kids since his biography was lost.
Why not Athena since she is the goddess of wisdom and Archimedes was a very wise man?

Yea, I was thinking the same, but I somehow figured there wouldn't be any record. Athena? I dunno... I'm kind of not fond of constantly using A names. I use A names a lot, you know? Need to have some variety... Hmmm... shall consider it, though. <3

Well I guess that puts Poseidon's wife Amphitrite right out then! lol I've personally always like Medea. Ina is the goddess of fish.

Hehehe, yea, kind of does, doesn't it? XD Oooh, I like Medea. And a goddess of fish is always good to name a fish after. Hmmm, I shall have to consider these two carefully. What's Medea from? Anything specific, historically/mythologically speaking?
