Non-Exciting Weekend
This weekend was rather dull and quite, honestly. Saturday was fun, as we hung out with Odango and generally had a good time. Not much to say, really… except that I still wish we carried a tape recorder around with us everywhere when with Odango, because the conversations get terribly insane and just… yea. ::laughs:: Want to have this stuff recorded for posterity’s sake, or some such.
Sunday, however, consisted of non-fun-ness to the tune of “coming in to work” and “putting in some much needed overtime.” I got my desk organized, and it’s amazing how much better it feels to work with a desk where you can actually SEE the desk, and know where everything is. I’m amazingly thankful I got the OK to come in, really, as it was something quite impossible to do during the normal work day. There’s too much OTHER stuff going on, and I was really never able to even begin properly. Like most cleaning jobs, organizing the desk took creating a bigger mess before I began to make any headway whatsoever. Isn’t that just fun? Yea. Fun. Three plus hours of that on a Sunday afternoon and I finally finished enough to call it quits. Picked up Joel, hit the comic book shop, went grocery shopping, came home and chilled out. Yay for chilling, even if I did only get two hours!
