That was from a radio commercial this morning. It was a joke, making fun of things, saying how a power tool shop was not sponsor to ice skating, but to Nascar. ^^; But anyway, I thought the ice skater's quote was hillarious, and so fitting to all of us seamstresses out there.
That bit of humor out of the way, I'm going INSANE. All this stuff is flying on me at the last minute, and I ~can~ fix it, if I can talk to the mortgage consultant... WHICH I CAN'T BECAUSE SHE WON'T ANSWER HER PHONE OR CALL ME BACK!!!!!
She was supposed to be going to the Dr. yesterday morning and would be back by noon. I waited, and at 2, when she hadn't called, I called her. She was just heading out the door to ANOTHER Dr. appointment, and asked to call me later that night. I called her when I got home. I called her after dinner. I called her three or so more times after that. I gave up around 9:30-10:00, after leaving several messages, both on her work phone and her work cell. Nothing.
This morning I tried to call her again. No answer. I'm about to try her work cell, and pray.
I know she's sick. That's why she's going to the doctor. But couldn't she call me and tell me that she would be out, if that is the case? Couldn't she have SOMEONE covering for her that she could put me in touch with? I don't want to lose the loan because I can't contact the mortgage consultant!!!

ETA: Just got a call from the person running the class Joel and I need to take as part of the requirements for the loan. It seems that while my consultant had CONTACTED her, she had not SCHEDULED for me to be in the class. So I had to confirm that I would be attending and such, speaking with the lady, so I could take the class my consultant said I was supposed to and able to take. WTF?
ETA2: It seems the "by Friday" bit was a huge misunderstanding. The reason she said 'by Friday' is because I'm now having to use undisclosed income. Tomorrow I won't be at work, because I'll be at a class. Undisclosed income is a part of that class. She wanted me to have my undisclosed income solidified before the class... but she knows now that I can work on the undisclosed income part of the class at a later date. She just wanted it in before Friday because that's when the class was. Now that I can do the undisclosed part after the class, there isn't as much of a rush--just the 10 days from the contract rush, which is quite enough rush for me, thank you.
Of course, this means I got to talk to the consultant, finally. Thank goodness. She is sick, and about to go see another doctor. She said she'd get on my loan stuff as soon as she got in the office, and would call me back. If she doesn't call by 2, I'm calling her. >.< She's also going to be forwarding me the difference from the 30 year to the 40 year loan. If all else is the same, and the payments are significantly lower, I may go with that and simply plan to refinance later.
