i got a penguin from my mom. it matches my pants.
i've decided some things, among these decisions is the conclusion that new guitar strings are tons of fun.
so yeah, weather's nice....i think...
summer is almost here, which means nonstop no-school until school starts again....it also means working.
so i overheard some sophomore (?..i think) guys talking about going to Hooters....which made me think, I wonder if Hooters is an equal opportunity employer. I mean, would i be able to get a job as a waiter there? I believe Title VII (I may be getting it wrong) of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 bans gender-discrimination in hiring practices, and this notion was strengthened in the 1991 Civil Rights Act...and, given Romer v. Evans (1996) and the broader applications of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment in recent years, it seems to me that just because I don't look good in spandex, Hooters cannot, if I am qualified, give me a job........at this point, the bell rang and I went to my next class.
