i finally finished the Am song with the bass walkdown thingy!...ok, so the title is a tad sketchy...but i'm done and i am quite happy.
the santa barbarians will come soon, it will be awesome. then i kind of graduate, which will be cool, except we have to wear that stupid dress thing...gosh....(i have to pretend to not be excited)...
so i've decided to comment with in depth analysis of the current issues of the day:
removing the filibuster????? DUMB, with a capital everything....
privatizing social security- i'm all for a bi-partisan solution and i think there needs to be SS reform...but, in all honesty, i couldn't come up with a stupider idea if i tried. its like this...our boat is sinking, so lets order a pizza. private accounts don't bring more money in...so when the problem is that there isn't enough money...private accounts have the same amount to do with SS as ordering a pizza does to a sinking ship (hence the metaphor).....
prohibition: nevermind..this issue isn't all that current
german people: regarding the controversial issue of german people, i'd have to say that i am Pro-german people....
ahh yes...the CA ballot prop that requires parental notice before abortion procedures: don't really care, it will get struck down by a court in about 12 seconds....its just a sneaky attempt at trying to bring the parental consent thing back....won't work. its vanity legislation, nothing more. like passing a law to abolish corn..it would be funny, you'd have a good lark, then you'd realize the law isn't constitutional, seeing as it violates the British Corn Laws of the early 1800s...no progress is made....then again, since its an abortion law, you probably wouldn't have a "good lark"...
