one piece: something impressive
notes; so I was rewatching a few episodes, and can I just say, Robin's debut into the series was amazing? So much tension and mystery and -melts-
The princess, as always, disappointed her.
Princess Vivi, too naive by far and much too weak to question what's in front of her.
The captain, on the other hand, fought quite persistently in order to name her.
“Oh, so she’s a good guy then?”
“Oh, so she’s a bad guy!”
How clearly this young boy sees the world. Black or white, good or bad. To have his sight would make life so much easier - and yet she doesn’t doubt that it would drive her insane.
Taking his hat and teasing him - she just wanted to push. Push, push, push and maybe, find some hint of his limits. There’s something deeper in him, beneath that “good or bad” nature of his.
She wants more.
“It’s probably a trap.”
Now that swordsman. Robin smiled, “Oh? I wonder about that…”
But she keeps her gaze on the captain, this childish boy of a man. And finally, she sees why he's worth believing in.
“Don’t you dare think you can choose the path of our journey!”
Well, that was impressive.
Robin smiles.
