I'll be around and update this weekend, but wanted to make a quick mention of a new comm I just created 12_in_12_by_12. It’s a challenge comm- a doable self challenge. Basically you join and commit to creating 12 ...? of art or fic - you pick the perimeters be it art/fic both then: fandom, genre, pairing, rating, length - it can be 12 drabbles, 12 rare pairings, 12 fandoms, 12 wips, 12 icons, 12 sets of icons, 12 banners, 12 bigbangs etc... get it?
You can join now and start to post Jan 1 and finish Jan 31, or post each month or sporadically throughout the year, or join or post all 12 in Dec 2014...
There were 2 similar comms that introduced me to this challenge. The 1st was 12in2008, then it closed. Another one popped up over on DW, but they didn't allow posting. Anyhoo I loved the challenge and it was the only one that was really doable. I’ve done this on my own for a couple of years, but decided I’d like a comm. in case anyone was like me and needed a doable win challenge. This weekend I'll be put up a welcome, FAQ/rules post. If you’re interested please go over and join 12_in_12_by_12 =)
