PROJECT PITCHFORK ticket giveaway this Friday at FALLOUT!
Thanks to our friends at the FallOut Lounge we will be giving away tickets to see PROJECT PITCHFORK and AYRIA on July 1st at the Lizard Lounge! Fallout hosts a biweekly event called BLACK FRIDAY featuring DJs Keith P and Anthony Social spinning the best in industrial, cold wave, and 80s underground. Doors are open from 10pm to 2am. As an added bonus, the bartenders are great and K2 recommends the Sugar Daddies! ;)

If you're not able to make it out on Friday you can still purchase your tickets online at www.groovetickets.com . Tickets are $10 advance, $15 at the door so purchase them now! Again, the show is on July 1st at the Lizard Lounge, 2424 Swiss Avenue, Dallas. Doors open at 9pm, show begins promptly at 10pm. Resident DJs Joe Virus and Per will be spinning the best in industrial, electro, and retro between bands and until 4am.

Project Pitchfork has delighted electronic music audiences all over the world since their beginning in 1991. Combining slightly menacing yet melodic vocals with danceable beats, Project Pitchfork create a form of electronic music reminiscent of bands such as Nitzer Ebb and Front Line Assembly. During their live performances, Project Pitchfork’s incorporation of live instruments and raw, carnal image create an arresting stage presence.
Originating from Hamburg, Germany, Project Pitchfork was formed by vocalist Peter Spilles and keyboardists Dirk Scheuber and Jürgen Jansen in 1991. During their first four years, the band released four albums, Dhyani, Lam-Bras, Entities, and IO. In 1995, the band was supported by German hard rock act, Rammstein, while touring for their fifth album, Alpha Omega. The band landed their first major label record deal in 1998 when they signed with Warner Music Group for the release of their album Eon:Eon which included the singles “SteelRose” and “Carnival”. In 2001, the band released Daimonion which featured their biggest club hit to date, “Timekiller.” As a result, the band was nominated for a German Echo Award in 2002 for Best Alternative Act. The band then released three more studio albums, all of which received high appraise from ReGen music magazine.
Pitchfork has toured the world extensively performing in North America, South America and Europe. Summer 2010 marks their second return to the USA in 10 months. Supporting Project Pitchfork on this tour will be synthpop’s leading female-fronted band, Ayria. Ayria has released three albums to date featuring minimal techno-style beats and has toured the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan and various European countries. Their singles “The Gun Song” and “Disease” can be heard in underground electronic clubs around the world.
K2 Entertainment, LLC is an artist management/booking agency based in Dallas, Texas. Formed in January 2008 by Kami Fuller and Krystal Garcia, K2 Entertainment provides promotions and booking for local, national, and international acts coming through the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
