The internet is lying...
Or my slash goggles are broken, because I did not see the gay in Captain America. Apart from, you know, the ridiculous campness of Captain America's stage show. Or, hell, Howard Stark's, for that matter. But I'd been hearing about slashy vibes between Captain America and Howard Stark, and I saw nothing.
Am I broken?
It was an okay film, pretty silly, and the special effects were a bit ropey in places - but entertaining enough. The ending seemed a bit abrupt, but I guess it's all designed to lead in to The Avengers, so I can let that slide. It just didn't feel like a complete film in the way that Iron Man did. I have to say, having heard good things about it, I was disappointed.
And not just for the lack of gay.
