Day 03 - Your favorite new show (aired this TV season)
White Collar! I didn't get into this right away - but I kept hearing about it on my flist, and decided to give it a whirl. And I'm so glad I did! I love it. It's such a fun show, and Neal is such a charming rogue. I love the capers and the heists and how long-suffering poor Peter he is. But he loves it really.
This is one of those rare shows where I actually love an OTP almost as much as I love a slash pairing. Peter and Neal are just SO slashy and co-dependent, and it's adorable to watch, particularly given the nature of the FBI/criminal dynamic. But then there's Elisabeth, Peter's wife, who is just awesome and fun and cute, and has such a lovely friendship with Peter. It's not often that 'wife' characters are that great, particularly in a semi-procedural show like this, because they're so home-bound, but Elisabeth is delightful. Especially when she teases Peter, and she teases him a lot!
