I'm so pleased Kathryn Bigelow won Best Director. I haven't seen The Hurt Locker, but it's about damn time a woman won a big gong like this, and that she beat her ex-husband James Cameron is even better. I'm so glad Avatar didn't do a full sweep.

And woo, Sandy won! Good. I'm a little disappointed Colin Firth didn't win, but I'd be hearing Jeff Bridges was a lock for Best Actor since the nominations were announced so I've had time to prepare my disapppointment.
