I'm going to miss the Olympics...

I'm really sorry they're over. I've really enjoyed watching it over the past two weeks - waking up in the morning and immediately checking the BBC live feed, marvelling over how well Team GB are doing, following the progress at work (sssh!). I think the Chinese put on a fabulous Olympics, one they can justifiably be proud of. I only hope 2012 will

I'm going to miss the olympics too! It was easier for me because I'm in the same time zone as Beijing so there was no time difference. Haha for the past two weeks the first thing I did the moment I reached home from school was to turn on the tv. No offence but I was surprised by how well Great Britain did, good job! :)

Oh, no offence taken - I think everybody's astonished at how well we did! I mean, in Athens we were 10th with 9 gold medals; in Sydney before that we were 10th with 11 gold medals; and before that in Atlanta we were 36th with only one gold medal! This is our best performance for a century!

My dad came back from taking my sister home last night and said 'right, what's on in the olympics?' and we all felt the lack. Although we did watch the entire closing ceremony.

But there's still the Paralympics!
