I have one episode left of Black Sails, and I've been putting off watching it for the last week. Because when I watch it, then the season is finished and I have to wait who knows how long until the next season. But as long as I still have something left to watch, it's not over

It's all your fault. Black Sails. Damn you! It's THE way pirate shows should be done. How did you know how I loved pirate shows? Did you sneak into my brain and and and make up this show to kill me??? It's the Deadwood of the pirate genre.

I just finished Ep. 6 and there's only 2 eps left and the fighting and the relationships and and and Billy! OMG, Billy!

Oh, and the dude playing Capt. Vane was on Shameless. Not nearly as nekkid, tho. Hummina. How DOES Australia build their men? I wanna watch.

And I've only got 2 more eps to watch before . . . the nothing creeps in. I've been rationing myself, lol.

And now some craptastic show is coming on US tv called . . . Blackbeard, I think. Not the same one as Black Sails, obvs. And it's going to be hard. And ruthless. And about as whitewashed at network tv can make it. GAH! If I wanted to watch frilly pirates, I'd watch Gilbert and Sullivan!

Anyway . . . damn you and thank you, so very much, for making me aware of Black Sails.

Yay, you watched it! Isn't it fantastic? It really makes the pirates, you know, ruthless and dirty and gritty, the way they're supposed to be! No fluffy Pirates of the Caribbean nonsense!

I still have the final episode to watch - I've been putting it off for over a month now, because once I've watched that then there's no more and I'm too impatient to wait ages for S2!
