The Bletchley Circle...

Did anyone watch this on ITV Thursday night? I missed it, hadn't even heard anything about it, but I watched it this afternoon on catch-up and really enjoyed it.

It's about a group of women who worked as codebreakers at Bletchley during the war. Several years later, when police are investigating a serial killer in London, one of them notices a pattern to the murders and tries to inform the police, obviously unsuccessfully. She teams up with several of her old codebreaking colleagues from Bletchley to try and identify the pattern and catch the murder. It's a three-part series and it was the first ep on Thursday.

I'm a sucker for anything remotely war-related anyway, and it stars Anna Maxwell Martin, who is good in just about everything she does.
